Marking Image Slices
You can create a key image within an image stack by checking the Marked Slices Indicator, which appears at the bottom right of image plane views of selected datasets. Functions implemented for marked slices include slice interpolation and removal of unrepresentative slices in an image stack (see Interpolating and Removing Image Slices), as well as extracting a new dataset from marked slices (see Extracting New Datasets from Marked Slices).
How to Show the Marked Slices Indicator
- Select the required dataset in the Data Properties and Settings panel.
- Select the Image Plane view.
If the Image Plane view is not available in the scene, right-click a view and then choose Image Plane in the pop-up menu.
- Right-click the view and then choose Show Marked Slices Indicator in the pop-up menu.
How to Mark Image Slices
- Select the image plane view.
Make sure that the Marked Slices Indicator is visible in the display.
- Click the Marked Slices Indicator for each key image that you need to create.
- Do the following to unmark slices:
- Uncheck the marked slice.
- Right-click inside the view and then choose Unmark All Slices in the pop-up menu.
